Today our team delivered its third presentation of the summer at Westerleigh PARC, and it turned out to be one of our most rewarding sessions yet. The environment itself was warm, welcoming, and genuinely conducive to meaningful conversation, which made our discussion on cybersecurity feel both accessible and important. Participants were engaged from the start, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own experiences with online safety.

We were especially excited to welcome our newest volunteer, Dominique, to her first presentation! She jumped in with confidence and curiosity, and it was great to see her connect with the audience so naturally.

After the session, several participants approached us with positive feedback, with some even mentioning how knowledgeable and clear our explanations were. Hearing that directly from the people we’re hoping to support made the entire experience feel worthwhile and reaffirmed the value of our work.

To extend our impact beyond the presentation itself, we distributed pamphlets that summarized key cybersecurity practices and highlighted additional online learning opportunities, as a number of participants expressed interest in exploring courses and resources further.

Overall, today felt like a meaningful step forward for our summer outreach, and we’re grateful for everyone who contributed to making it such a memorable experience.
