Our team has had the opportunity to deliver a series of cybersecurity and digital‑literacy presentations across multiple schools and community organizations. Each session has allowed us to engage with diverse audiences, from elementary students to older adults, and share practical, accessible knowledge that empowers safer online habits. Shannon Oaks Retirement Home
Our team delivered its first presentation this week, and it was an exceptional experience. We had the opportunity to present alongside our teacher, Dr. Chugani, to a group of older adults, and the session was both engaging and rewarding. The participants asked thoughtful, insightful questions, and their enthusiasm contributed to a dynamic discussion. We also received highly positive feedback, which reinforced the impact and value of our work.

West Bay Elementary
Our team delivered its first presentation to an elementary school this week, and the experience was both exciting and meaningful. Returning to West Bay, a school many of us once attended, made our debut feel especially personal. Sharing our work in a place so familiar created the perfect environment for our first outreach session! We walked away with valuable lessons that will strengthen our future presentations.

Hollyburn Elementary
Our team delivered its third presentation at a local elementary school, working with a combined class of Grade 5 and 6 students. The group was highly engaged, demonstrated excellent listening skills, and impressed us with the strong, creative passwords they developed during the session. It was a genuinely rewarding experience and a meaningful opportunity to support digital literacy at the youth level.

Our team delivered a presentation at Pauline Johnson Elementary, hosted in the school’s library, a bright, welcoming space that provided an ideal environment for sharing our cybersecurity knowledge. We saw outstanding participation and engagement from the students, whose enthusiasm made the session especially impactful. Experiences like this reinforce the importance of youth digital literacy, and we always appreciate schools that foster such an interactive learning atmosphere.

Our team was invited to speak with WeTalk, an organization dedicated to empowering students by giving them a platform to share their knowledge, experiences, and insights with a wider audience. The founder and host, Emily, guided the conversation with thoughtful, detailed, and deeply insightful questions that encouraged meaningful reflection and discussion. It was an engaging and genuinely rewarding experience, and we appreciated the opportunity to contribute to a community focused on student‑driven learning.

Chartwell Churchill House Retirement Residence
Our team delivered its second presentation at a retirement home today, and the experience taught us a valuable lesson. With one of the final FIFA World Cup matches happening at the same time, scheduling became a challenge, but we relied on perseverance and adaptability to make it work. In the end, the participants were highly engaged and shared wonderful feedback, making the entire experience worthwhile.
